The ANMF recently met with members at the Hobart Clinic regarding their enterprise agreement. ANMF staff and members, support separate nursing and non-nursing Agreements. ANMF members reported that the employer has offered 2% backpay to all employees for 2018 and have shown a willingness to negotiate with nurses further. ANMF members believe that Hobart Clinic must recognise the pay provided in other mental health facilities in Hobart, coupled with the rises in rent and rates, when considering their claim for a 4% wage increase per annum. Further, ANMF members believe pay parity or better is the only way to ensure Hobart Clinic retains nurses into the future.
