On 12 June 2019, the ANMF attended a meeting between Statewide Mental Health Services management and Millbrook Rise nursing staff to discuss issues relating to patient flow and infrastructure within the New Norfolk facility. Whilst no decisive outcomes were achieved, this meeting allowed staff an opportunity to table their concerns directly with senior management who, in turn, expressed an awareness of the points raised and a commitment to continued co-operation in seeking mutually beneficial outcomes. The ANMF look forward to continuing this collaborative approach with all parties involved.
