Masonic North

On 22 October and 24 October 2019, the ANMF met with members at Peace Haven and Fred French respectively. Members were provided with and EA update from the ANMF before and they also took the time to provide information regarding workload concerns. The ANMF will work with members to gather data on workload concerns via a workload form that has been left onsite. This information will then be collected and provided to Masonic management in order to clarify workload concerns and seek a resolution of the issue.

Member Engagement & Communication Officer

Member Engagement & Communication Officer Mandy Clark has been out and about as usual visiting members in aged care facilities across the state.  Mandy and the team at ANMF would like to congratulate the Nursing staff at Huon Regional Care for their contribution to the Enterprise agreement process.  Members have succeeded in persuading the employer to agree to pay back pay entitlements from January 2018 as part of the agreement.  This is a significant achievement and could only have come about through members standing together in solidarity through a lengthy and frustrating process.  Meetings have been held at all 3 sites where our members have given their in principle agreement to the new wage offer and have asked ANMF to raise a couple of matters with the employer.  We will update you as to the next steps in the process in due course.

Updates correct as at 30 October 2019
