Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Update

Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Ward 4D
On the 4 October 2019 the ANMF lodged an application with the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) regarding  4D workloads. The application centres on the prolonged length of time the THS is taking to submit a business case for the additional 2.04 FTE identified from the 4D benchmarking that was endorsed by members on the 10 April 2019.

Following the TIC hearing (a conference is scheduled for 17 October) the ANMF will arrange a member meeting to report back any outcomes.

Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Ward 5D
On the 4 October 2019, the ANMF lodged an application with the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) relating to the workload of members on 5D. The application relates to the outstanding business case for the additional 1.03 FTE identified through the benchmarking process, and the lack of a Pharmacy Technician role on the ward.

A conference date has been scheduled for 17 October and we will arrange a member meeting to report back outcomes as soon as we can.
