We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.

Calvary Health Care Tasmania Nurses
The ANMF has received a reply from Calvary Health Care Tasmania indicating the that the next bargaining meeting will be held on 18 May 2020. Thanks to all those members who responded to our survey in March, this information has added to the evidence needed to push for workload reform and ratios.

Southern Cross Care (Tas) Inc. (SCCT) and Mary’s Grange
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the employer has suggested postponing negotiations with a roll over Agreement and an administrative pay increase (3%) for a 12-month period (this includes the 2% allocated on 24 February 2020). Members were sent correspondence last week and have voted up the proposal. The ANMF are currently waiting on a response from the employer.

Masonic Care Tasmania (MCT)
The ANMF had been expecting an updated draft Agreement from Masonic Care Tasmania (MCT) on 30 April 2020. MCT has advised that the current COVID-19 situation has hindered their ability to provide these drafts. The ANMF will continue to work with MCT and the current situation to bring about the final draft Agreements. Further updates to follow via eNews and emails to members.

Respect
The ANMF has confirmed a date for the second Bargaining meeting, this will occur on Wednesday 13 May 2020. Further updates will follow this meeting.

Family Planning Tasmania
A letter has been sent to the CEO on Tuesday 28 April 2020, asking them to contact the ANMF regarding upcoming Enterprise Agreement negotiations. An update will be provided to members once the ANMF has received this response.

Healthscope
The Log of Claims (LOC) was endorsed by members via survey on 15 April 2020. The ANMF sent the completed LOC to the employer who replied and asked for tentative dates for Bargaining to begin. Further information will be sent to members as it is available.

Hobart Day Surgery
Hobart Day Surgery management have been advised of the members’ position, that being a rejection of their wage offer and other matters. The ANMF held a members’ meeting on Thursday 7 May 2020 regarding a plan for progressing the Bargaining process.

Hobart Clinic
The Hobart Clinic Nurses Agreement was voted up by members. The paperwork has been submitted to the Fair Work Commission.

South Eastern Community Care (SECC)
The ANMF are awaiting the outcome of a meeting between SECC management and Quartz Consulting (Bargaining Representatives) to determine a plan for progressing the Enterprise Agreement. The ANMF have been attempting to contact the employer with the information required to continue Bargaining. Members will be sent a flyer detailing the plan once the ANMF has received further information.

Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS)
The Agreement is in the final drafting stages prior to being presented to staff for a vote. The ANMF will notify members of further progress as it comes to hand. 

Huon Regional Care
Current negotiations have stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ANMF will update members on any changes to negotiations as they occur.

Anglicare
The 2018 Agreement that was reached is to be redrafted to satisfy the Fair Work Commission. Further discussion is to occur around the issue of the 90 hour fortnight roster which applies to Disability workers.

Regional Imaging Tasmania
The ANMF is currently following up with the employer regarding negotiations. Negotiations have currently stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Salvation Army – Barrington Lodge Nurses
The agreement was put to ballot by the employer, staff have voted up the Agreement. The employer lodged their paperwork with the Fair Work Commission on 6 May 2020. Further updates will be sent to members when available.

Glenview nurses and non-nursing
The ballot period opened on the 28 April 2020 and will close on Tuesday 12 May 2020 (at close of business). The ANMF is following up the results of the vote and members will be advised of the results as soon as possible.

Menarock the Gardens
Menarock has responded to correspondence sent by the ANMF. Once this response has been reviewed the ANMF will provide a member update.

BUPA
The ANMF is still waiting on a response from the employer regarding continuing negotiations.

Corumbene
The ANMF attended a Zoom meeting on April 21, we are now awaiting a written response from the employer regarding the log of claims.

Christian Homes
A letter was sent to the CEO on Tuesday 28 April 2020 asking the employer to contact the ANMF regarding upcoming negotiations. The employer has replied to this letter and requested a meeting with the ANMF. Further information will be sent to members after this initial discussion.

OneCare
A letter was sent to the CEO on Tuesday 28 April 2020 asking the employer to contact the ANMF regarding upcoming negotiations. An update will be provided to members once it is available.

Queen Victoria Home
A letter was sent to the CEO on Tuesday 28 April 2020 asking the employer to contact the ANMF regarding upcoming EA negotiations. An update will be provided to members once the ANMF has received this response.

Hobart District Nursing Service
A letter was sent to the CEO on Tuesday 28 April 2020 asking the employer to contact the ANMF regarding upcoming EA negotiations. An update will be provided to members once available.

The Eye Hospital
Members have advised the ANMF that CURA circulated a copy of the Agreement for ballot with voting closing on Wednesday 29 April 2020. The ANMF are currently following up the results of this ballot and will provide further information to members as soon as possible.

Medea Park
The ANMF have been invited to a video meeting to finalise discrepancies in the draft Agreement provided for ballot. This meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 20 May 2020. Further information to follow.

May Shaw Nurses
The draft Agreement has been reviewed by the ANMF with an email sent to members last week. The ANMF is waiting on May Shaw to provide a wage schedule and public holiday rates, this information will then be communicated to members. Click here to read the latest EA update.

May Shaw (Scottsdale General Staff)
This Agreement is still progressing through the approval process in the Fair Work Commission. Members will be advised once the Agreement has been approved.

Eskleigh nurses
The ANMF has followed up with the Eskleigh Foundation regarding correspondence sent on 21 April 2020. At this time, we are still awaiting a response. Once the ANMF receive a response, we will send further updates to members.

Launceston Church Grammar School
The ANMF has received and reviewed the draft Agreement and are now awaiting ballot dates. Further information will be sent to members as it becomes available.

Toosey
The ANMF have received orders from the Fair Work Commission on the 29 April 2020. The employer will make their case with the commission and the ANMF will respond. Further information to follow.

Melaleuca Home for the Aged
Negotiations have stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ANMF will provide further details to members once progress has been made. 

Meercroft
The Log of Claims has been endorsed via member survey on 8 May 2020. Click here to read the latest EA update.

Tandara Lodge
The ANMF has confirmed the first bargaining meeting (via Zoom) will occur on 25 May 2020. The ANMF will provide further updates following this meeting.
