Newsflash: Are Your Details Correct?

With the potential exposure of nurses, midwives and care workers on the North West Coast to the COVID-19 virus, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmanian Branch (ANMF) remind everyone of the importance of ensuring your contact details (address, phone number, email and next of kin) held by your employer, are correct.

Due to incorrect details being held on personnel files, Public Health is having difficulties locating staff during the contact tracing stage. If you are working at the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) you should be able to update your details on the intranet. We ask that you check to make sure your details are correct as a matter of urgency. If you are working elsewhere on the North West Coast, please advise your unit or facility manager if your contact details have changed.

Additionally, if you believe the details held by the ANMF may be incorrect, please email our membership officer on membership@anmftas.org.au or update them online here. Please include your membership number as it appears at the top of this email.

The ANMF acknowledge the difficult and challenging times you are currently working in and will continue to advocate on your behalf. We thank you for your service to the community and encourage you to stay safe and take care of each other. If you are experiencing any difficulties coping at work or home, given the stress and emotional impact of COVID-19, we encourage you to contact the free Nurses and Midwives Support Line on 1800 667 877 or visit their website here.
