Launceston General Hospital

Ward 5A
The ANMF recently consulted with members regarding the long-standing workload concerns and note that members have resolved to close the grievance. It has been agreed that the Clinical Coach role will remain as will the commitment to ensure six nurses on the night shift. The ANMF has sent formal correspondence to the Tasmanian Health Service articulating the above.

Ward 4D
Recent benchmarking has ensured that the ward will be permanently funded to 28 beds. The ANMF is now seeking feedback from members regarding the current grievance to take direction from them as to the way forward. We will collate that feedback and articulate that to members via email by close of business 20 June 2020. We encourage members to provide their feedback to the ANMF.

Updates correct as of 10 June 2020.
