Adult Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS) – Crisis Assessment and Triage Team (CATT) – Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts

The ANMF attended a video meeting with members on Monday 29 June 2020. This meeting was organised by management to discuss the survey results of a consumer and clinician survey that was conducted within the Crisis Assessment and Triage Team (CATT) and Helpline services . A draft proposal for a new ‘Acute Care Team’ Operational Service Model has been tabled for review by nurses who will be impacted by any changes. Feedback will be collated and sent to management. ‘12-hour shifts’ are currently being investigated and information will be given to members as it becomes available.

Another meeting was also held on Wednesday 17 June 2020 to discuss police escorts, with a subsequent meeting between the ANMF and Team Leader Dean Riches held to discuss the Memorandum of Understanding. Details were communicated to affected members via email.
