Emergency Department – Survey
The ANMF would like to remind members that we are seeking feedback regarding workloads within the Launceston General Hospital Emergency Department. All members working in the department were provided with a link to the survey via email on Wednesday 15 July 2020. If you did not receive this, please contact our Member Support Team. This survey closes at 0900 hours on Wednesday 12 August 2020.
Holman Clinic
The ANMF is in the process of confirming with the Tasmanian Health Service if the identified FTE, as a part of the workload tool developed via the Oncology Working Group, will be recruited to fixed term basis. This is a process that has been agreed to on other wards and units while process for approving permanent positions is carried out. Updates relating to this will be emailed to members as they come to hand.
North East Soldiers Memorial Hospital
The ANMF has been in contact with members from the North East Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Scottsdale where concerns have been raised regarding sick leave not being replaced, increased outpatient presentations, and workloads. We will work with members at this site to develop a workload form for collecting data on such occurrences. In addition to this, a meeting with members will be scheduled in the coming weeks to discuss the application of the workload form. Please check your email for more information as it comes to hand.
Updates correct as at 6 August 2020.
