The ANMF attended a Step 2 Specialist Panel meeting on 21 August 2020 to discuss the workload concerns of members. The ANMF presented suggestions at this meeting as to possible solutions to the concerns raised and are awaiting formal correspondence from the Tasmanian Health Service. Once this has been received, we will schedule a report back meeting with members.

Eastern Shore Community Nursing

The ANMF conducted a meeting with members at Eastern Shore Community Nursing on 27 August 2020 regarding the change proposal to transition to iPM. Members are working hard to adapt to the new system but are looking for some more technical support. A further meeting has been scheduled with members and management for 10 September 2020 at 1530 hours.

Midlands Multi-Purpose Centre

The ANMF visited members at Midlands Multi-Purpose Centre on 20 August 2020, to discuss workplace concerns. Following an exchange of correspondence with management over the past 12 months and marginal progress of members concerns, we will be conducting a survey of members in the workplace regarding outstanding issues and other matters. In addition, ANMF is currently exploring options for a resolution to ongoing roster concerns.

New Norfolk District Hospital

The ANMF met with members this week at the New Norfolk District Hospital to discuss workloads, rosters, skill mix, and clinical support. Members advised that they are satisfied that these matters are well managed, with plans to add an extra layer of clinical and logistical support progressing.
