EA Updates
We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.
Masonic
The ANMF is working with the employer to resolve underpayment issues for nurses (handover) and carers (wage rates).
OneCare
The first bargaining meeting has been delayed as the employer’s representative has suffered an injury. The meeting will now take place in the week starting 28 September 2020.
Regis
The first bargaining meeting will be held on 29 October 2020.
Respect
The ANMF is awaiting a final draft from the employer.
Southern Cross Care
The employer has agreed to recommence bargaining in October 2020.
BUPA South Hobart
The agreement was made when a majority of employees approved it at ballot. The employer will now lodge the agreement in the Fair Work Commission for approval.
Christian Homes
The second bargaining meeting was held on 9 September 2020. The employer did not increase its wage offer and did not agree to the counter offer proposed by members. The employer is reviewing the ANMF’s comments on its draft agreement.
Healthscope
The employer has agreed to begin bargaining. The ANMF is meeting with members to update its log of claims if necessary before the first meeting.
Hobart Day Surgery
The ANMF is awaiting a final draft agreement to take to members for endorsement.
South Eastern Community Care
The ANMF has identified that members have been underpaid under the current EA. The employer is rectifying this underpayment. The employer is updating its draft enterprise agreement to include the correct current wage and allowance rates.
Hobart District Nursing Service
Following earlier consultation with members, a Log of Claims is ready for endorsement. A meeting is scheduled for 1500 hours on 22 July 2020 at the Hobart District Nursing Service day centre. Members are encouraged to attend this meeting to ensure that their voice is represented.
Corumbene
The ANMF met with the employer on 10 September 2020. The employer provided draft agreements for the ANMF to review. The ANMF will meet with members to discuss the employer’s position.
Menarock
The ANMF has asked the employer to recommence bargaining.
Queen Victoria Home
The ANMF has sent logs of claims to the employer and is awaiting a response.
May Shaw
The ANMF is surveying members to update the log of claims.
Toosey
The ANMF has asked the employer to begin a new bargaining process.
Meercroft
The ANMF has accepted the employer’s offer subject to agreement on new increments for Enrolled Nurses.
Melaleuca
The ANMF has written to the employer requesting the recommencement of bargaining.
Tandara General Staff
The Fair Work Commission has asked the employer to provide undertakings before the agreement can be approved.
