Holman Clinic

The ANMF has received a response from Tasmanian Health Service management regarding the recent Step 2 Grievance raised on behalf of members in the Holman Clinic. We are now in the process of surveying members in relation to the response to determine the next steps should the business case for permanent FTE not be approved within the next 4 weeks. 3R Benchmarking

On 20 August 2020, the ANMF attended a re-benchmarking meeting for Ward 3R. Following this, we are reviewing data supplied by Tasmanian Health Service. We will be scheduling a meeting with members on Ward 3R shortly to discuss the details of the proposed increase in FTE.

Intensive Care Unit

ANMF attended the Intensive Care Unit benchmarking meeting on 31 August 2020. We are currently reviewing the new benchmarked data and will meet with members shortly to discuss in detail the proposed new benchmark. A notice with the date and time of the meeting will be sent to members via email shortly.

Ward 4D

On 17 August 2020, the ANMF met with members on 4D regarding the response of the Tasmanian Health Service to our request for a formal change proposal regarding the inclusion of the Northern Coronary Care Unit beds into 4D. As a result, 4D members endorsed the ANMF to make an application to the Tasmanian Industrial Commission to achieve THS compliance with the consultation requirements of the Award. Please click here for further details of ANMF’s application.
