ANMF submission to the State Service Review

On 9 October 2020, the ANMF lodged our submission to the Tasmanian Government State Service Review on behalf of members. The Review aims to identify structural, operational, service, practice, and legislative improvements to ensure Tasmania’s public service is able to deliver for the community.

After Joint Union Advocacy, the State Service Review extended the opportunity for limited consultation prior to the initial report being finalised. The ANMF, therefore, submitted a response based on prior feedback from members and also following discussion with ANMF Branch Council. As you will see in the submission, the ANMF has called for broad and meaningful consultation with State Service Employees and we will also be seeking feedback prior to March 2021.
