EA Updates
We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.
Calvary Health Care Tasmania
Calvary intends to put its proposed Agreement out to ballot later in November. At member meetings across the state, members continue to strongly voice their concerns about workloads and workplace matters above the wage offer. The ANMF has again asked the employer to take steps to improve workloads.
May Shaw
Members continue to express concerns about workload and staffing at all facilities across the state. Members have endorsed the updated Log of Claims. The ANMF will now formally ask the employer to recommence the bargaining process.
Southern Cross Care Tasmania
The first Enterprise Bargaining meeting was held on 28 October 2020. This was an introductory meeting and an opportunity to set dates for future meetings. The ANMF will advise of updates via email as they come to hand.
Christian Homes
The employer intends to put its proposed Agreement out to ballot without the ANMF’s support. The ANMF met with the employer on 5 November 2020 and is now awaiting the employer’s final draft Agreement.
Corumbene
The ANMF continues to bargain with the employer for a replacement Enterprise Agreement. The employer has not yet improved its offer.
Healthscope
The second Enterprise Bargaining meeting was held on 4 November 2020. An update following this meeting has been sent to members via email and can be read here. The ANMF held meetings with members earlier this week to discuss the offer from Healthscope.
Hobart Day Surgery
The Enterprise Agreement has been lodged in the Fair Work Commission for approval.
Hobart District Nursing Service
The employer has accepted the counter offer made by the ANMF following the member meeting on 4 November 2020. The ANMF is now reviewing the final draft Agreement before the ballot process begins.
South Eastern Community Care
The ANMF visited members on 3 November 2020 following the employer’s unsuccessful ballot. The ANMF has asked the employer to continue the bargaining process.
Menarock
The ANMF are awaiting a response from Menarock about the recommencement of the Enterprise Agreement negotiations.
One Care
Enterprise Agreement negotiations began on 30 October 2020. The ANMF hopes to receive a response to its Log of Claims at the next meeting on 13 November 2020.
Medea Park
Enterprise Agreement negotiations continue. Medea Park have agreed that the schedule for wages will be based on the 2018 wage rates within the Enterprise Agreement plus 2.5%. The ANMF met with members on 9 November 2020.
