Newsflash: ANMF vs Tasmanian Health Service – TIC Outcome of Industrial Dispute regarding CCTV in High Dependency Unit Patient Rooms

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmanian Branch (ANMF) officials attended the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) on Wednesday 18 November. The ANMF provided a response to advice provided by the Solicitor-General to the Tasmanian Health Service (THS). 

The ANMF has continued to argue that there appears to be a case for continuing to use cameras in the HDU and has asserted that in the interest of front line staff and Work Health and Safety issues raised by members, the most responsible way forward would be to explore this.

A member’s meeting will be arranged to discuss the above outcomes with the Workplace Representative. Details will be provided to the meeting once available.
