Mersey Community Hospital

Emergency Department

ANMF officials met with members on 6 November 2020, in the Mersey Community Hospital Emergency Department to provide industrial support in the lead up to the planned 24/7 reopening of the department. If you have any concerns or would like to chat about this change further, please contact our Member Support Team.

Medical Ward

The ANMF can now confirm that the change proposal for Mersey Community Hospital Medical Ward staffing has been received from the Tasmanian Health Service. Following receipt of member views, a formal response will be sent to Tasmanian Health Service management.

Day Surgery Unit and Operating Theatre

Member meetings were held in both the Day Surgery Unit and Operating Theatre as these units will be undergoing considerable redevelopment. On behalf of members, ANMF officials will attend the joint industrial consultative committee meetings.
