North West Regional Hospital

Medical Ward

The ANMF officials attend weekly roster/skill mix meetings with Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management as part of addressing the Step 2 workload grievance on the medical ward.

Medical Ward members are encouraged to join the working group which considers ways to resolve the grievance. Should you wish to join the working group please contact the ANMF Member Support Team here.

Midwifery Group Practice (MGP)

A productive member meeting was held online on 27 January 2021 to discuss professional issues including annual credentialing requirements for Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) midwives. The ANMF will be writing to the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management on behalf of members, members will be advised once feedback is received.

North West Renal Unit

ANMF members from the North West Renal Unit attended a member meeting on 21 January 2021. Professional and industrial concerns, including poor access to meal breaks, were raised by members.  The ANMF are in the process of raising these concerns with management and once a response is received further member meetings will be arranged.  Keep any eye on your email for meeting invites.
