Ward 5B

On 4 February 2021, the ANMF met with Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management for the second benchmarking meeting for LGH 5B. At the meeting, the ANMF raised members’ concerns related to patient safety, skill mix, and workload, with regard to the proposed benchmarking. The ANMF has now received a written response from THS management to the concerns raised by members. We are in the process of reviewing this response and will schedule a meeting with members shortly.

Operation Room Suite (ORS)

On 10 December 2020, the ANMF met with members to discuss the results of the ORS ANMF member survey and current workload concerns. Following the meeting, the ANMF wrote to THS raising a Step 1 Grievance.
