North West Coast Students

ANMF Organiser Annette Beechey, has been out and about speaking with Enrolled Nursing students at Devonport TAFE and Individual Support Students at Burnie TAFE. Expected graduation for these students is July, we look forward to seeing them later in the year in their respective workplaces.

North West Renal Unit

The ANMF met with members from the North West Renal Unit on 21 January 2021. Professional and industrial concerns including access to meal breaks were raised by members. The ANMF has not yet received a response to our correspondence, once a response is received further meetings will be arranged.

Mersey Community Hospital Medical Ward

Step 3 Grievance and Change Proposal

The ANMF has written to Tasmanian Health Service management to request tangible timeframes for the introduction of a clinical coach. The clinical coach role is one of the strategies designed to address the Stage 3 Grievance. To date, no timeframe has been provided.

Devonport Eye Hospital

In celebration of World Glaucoma Week, ANMF officials visited members at Devonport Eye Hospital to thank them for the contribution they make to our community’s eye health.
