Private Sector Updates – Statewide

Calvary Health Care

The ANMF has been advised by members at Calvary Health Care that they must obtain the COVID-19 vaccine in their own time, as this is not a mandatory requirement of the employer. The ANMF has sent formal correspondence to Calvary Health Care emphasising the benefit to the employer of having a vaccinated workforce. We have advised that as such, staff should be able to attend an appointment for their vaccination in paid work time. We are still awaiting a response to this request. Once a response has been received, we will consult with members further via email.

Updates correct as 1 April 2021.
