Aged Care Updates – Statewide

Southern Cross Care Tasmania

General Workplace Matters

The ANMF has written to the Southern Cross Care (SCC) board in response to member concerns about the overall direction of SCC given the overwhelming multiple changes in Facility Managers and Clinical Leaders through all sites in the last 12 months. Members advise that they have lost confidence in SCC leadership and workplace turnover, already very high throughout aged care generally, is at extreme levels across SCC sites.

Rosary Gardens

ANMF members at Rosary Gardens continue to work under difficult circumstances, with ongoing uncertainty surrounding the Facility Manager position. ANMF encourage members to reach out to the ANMF Member Support Team for advice and support, the ANMF will meet with members any time at their request.

Updates correct as at 13 May 2021.
Authorised by Emily Shepherd, ANMF Tasmanian Branch Secretary
