Royal Hobart Hospital

NPICU – Ward K8E

The ANMF will conduct a member meeting in Neonatal Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (NPICU) today at 1400hrs as part of its Southern Roadshow. This meeting will be an opportunity for members to discuss ongoing workload and staffing concerns as well as raise any new business – all staff are encouraged to attend.

Department Critical Care Medicine (DCCM)

On Friday 18 June, the ANMF attended a Step Two Specialist Panel meeting to discuss ongoing and well identified workload and staffing concerns within DCCM. Full details of the significant works in progress to alleviate current concerns will be forwarded to members via email as soon as practicable. All member input is welcomed via email submissions to membersupport@anmftas.org.au

Inpatient Oncology – Ward 9A

On 11 June, the ANMF wrote to Tasmanian Health Service (THS) Management requesting that any/all recommendations from the State-wide NHpPD Business Rules Committee meeting be immediately applied to the outstanding NHpPD Benchmarking dispute regarding Inpatient Oncology Unit, 9A. A response has been requested by 25 June 2021. ANMF will relay THS’  feedback/response to members via email once received.
