Public Sector Updates – South

Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH)

Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (NPICU)

The ANMF has completed a survey, as per the actions declared within the Step Two Grievance Specialist Panel on Monday 4 October 2021, which is anticipated for release to members by COB Friday 29 October 2021. To allow members ample opportunity to respond to this important questionnaire it will remain live for 3 weeks, closing at 0900hrs Thursday 18 November 2021. There will also be an avenue for NPICU staff who are non-ANMF members, but who maintain an interest in contributing to the feedback, to access the survey, which will be advised via a separate email. For any questions/concerns please contact the ANMF by emailing our Member Support Team.

Aged Services Team (AST)

The ANMF has met with both the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) for the Aged Services Team (AST) to relay identified workload/staffing issues and seek their feedback as to decisive and timely resolutions. As such, the ANMF will now write formally on the same themes and anticipate a prompt Tasmanian Health Service (THS) response, which will be forwarded to members ASAP via a separate email. A subsequent member meeting will also be arranged in the near future, with notice to be relayed to members via a separate flyer.

Updates correct as at 28 October 2021.
