Statewide Mental Health Services (SMHS) Spencer Clinic

Step 2 Grievance

ANMF officials and workplace representatives attended the first Workplace Grievance Panel meeting with Mental Health Services, Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management on Thursday 18 November 2021 with a second meeting planned for Tuesday 30 November 2021. North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) Operating Theatres

ANMF members unanimously endorsed the 2021 Benchmarking noting that this will require a change proposal. Members subsequently endorsed the change proposal, provided it is essentially the same as was presented at the meeting. It was agreed that application of the 2021 Benchmarking will resolve the current grievance. The THS were formally advised of the opinion of members on Friday 5 November 2021.

North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) Medical Ward

ANMF members unanimously endorsed the 2021 Benchmarking that supports an increase in Full Time Equivalent (FTE) positions. The ANMF would like to acknowledge all parties involved in the benchmarking process and considered options have resulted in outcomes that will help address the workload on the Medical Ward.

West Coast District Hospital

Step 2 Grievance

ANMF officials attended the first workplace grievance meeting on Wednesday 20 October 2021. The ANMF remains hopeful that it will be able to resolve the workload concerns at this level, further information is expected on Thursday 25 November 2021, following which consultation with members will take place. A meeting notice will be distributed shortly.
