Staff profile: Peter McBeath, ANMF Southern Organiser
Today’s health systems are made of skilled, multi generational, and culturally diverse work forces, and you all share a common goal. That goal is to provide the best patient care experience in a positive work environment and the best way to accomplish that goal is with teamwork. This is the focus of our new campaign, #OnYourTeam
Peter emigrated to Australia in 1986 after meeting his wife Susan in Strahan on the West Coast in 1985 while backpacking.
He started Nursing at UTAS and completed the course in 1990, six weeks after the birth of their twins! He started his career at the Toosey District Hospital in Longford and became a member of the ANMF.
Since then, he’s worked in community, aged and palliative care settings over the years and loves his work as a Registered Nurse.
Updates correct as at 22 November 2021.
