Private Sector Updates – Statewide

Calvary South

Lenah Valley and St John’s Hospital

The ANMF was recently invited by Calvary to attend the bed meetings via Zoom at both Lenah Valley and St John’s Hospitals.  This was an informative session allowing the ANMF to see how management plans the workloads on the day. We are hopeful that this is a positive move with Calvary allowing the ANMF access to data which will be discussed at the Workload Consultative Committee meetings in 2022.

The ANMF thanks members who completed the recent workload survey. This survey is open for submission at any time. Members are reminded to complete Calvary’s internal workload forms to highlight issues with Calvary. They have assured the ANMF that they welcome these forms from staff to discuss workload issues as they arise. The next Workload Consultative Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday 9 February 2022 at 1430hrs.  Members are encouraged to attend these meetings.

Calvary – North

Meanwhile, the workload data collection period has now concluded in the North. Reporting will be provided to Calvary in the New Year. The ANMF has raised concerns regarding COVID-19 preparations across Calvary wards and units.

Updates correct as at 23 December 2021.
