Close Observation Unit (COU) & Medical Ward 12 Hour Shift Proposal

The ANMF received a Change proposal for consultation from Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management on Friday 28 January 2022. The proposal outlines the short-term implementation of 12-hour shifts as an interim safe staffing strategy to support the Pandemic response. The ANMF is currently waiting on the THS to advise whether they intend to proceed with the Proposal, if so, member meetings will be convened to provide advice to members of their entitlements should they elect to move to 12-hour shifts.  In the meantime, if you have questions or concerns, please contact our Member Support Team via email at membersupport@anmftas.org.au

Medical Day Procedure and Oncology

ANMF officials met with members on Monday 21 February 2022 where members raised workload concerns and endorsed the ANMF to raise a Step 1 Workload Grievance. A formal notification is in process.
