North West Regional Hospital (NWRH)

Emergency Department (ED)

The ANMF, on behalf of members at NWRH Emergency Department, has notified the THS of the Step 2 Workload Grievance and requested a Specialist Panel be convened. Members will be kept informed of the progress. Further details are available here.

Mersey Community Hospital (MCH)

Emergency Department (ED)

The ANMF received the proposed benchmarking from THS management on Friday 1 July 2022. A member meeting to discuss the benchmarking and seek members’ endorsement will be scheduled in the coming weeks. Please watch for the invite in your inbox.

Close Observation Unit (COU)

The ANMF received the proposed benchmarking from THS management on 10 June 2022. A member meeting to discuss the benchmarking and seek members endorsement has been scheduled for 20 July 2022. Come along and have your say.

Theatre and Day Surgery Unit Redevelopment

The ANMF received the draft Statement of Duties for review from THS management on Tuesday 5 July 2022. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 19 July 2022 at which time

North West Cancer Centre

The ANMF, on behalf of members at North West Cancer Centre, has notified the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) of the Step 2 Workload Grievance and requested a Specialist Panel be convened. Members will be kept informed of the progress.

Rosebery Community Health Centre (RCHC)

Change Proposal

The ANMF met with members from RCHC to review Friday 24 June 2022 Change Proposal. Members feedback and comment has been sent to the THS. As part of the consultation process, the ANMF will attend the Teams Meeting scheduled for Thursday 7 July 2022.

RCHC Salary Maintenance

Since December 2021, the ANMF has pursued salary maintenance on behalf of members as the ongoing reduction of service delivery at RCHC has had a financial impact on members. On Monday 4 July 2022, we were advised by the THS that the business case for salary maintenance has been approved. Click here for more information.

This past fortnight Nicki has been busy adding final pieces to the three hampers members can win across the North West during the month of July for the North West Roadshow.
