Private Sector Updates – Statewide

Calvary Lenah Valley and St John’s Hospitals

The ANMF will be holding member meetings at Lenah Valley and St John’s Hospitals for the endorsement of the Log of Claims (LOC) for the Enterprise Agreement (EA). The ANMF has been informed by Calvary negotiators that they are not ready to bargain due to unavoidable circumstances. We will be requesting for bargaining to start once the LOC has been endorsed by members statewide. Dates and times for the meetings will be communicated to members shortly. If any members would like to become Reps to assist in the EA bargaining process or find out more, please contact Organiser Jane Pond via email jane.pond@anmftas.org.au

Calvary South Workload Consultative Committee (WCC) Meeting

Workload forms which have been submitted will be discussed. This is a forum for discussing workload issues in your workplace with the ANMF in attendance. If you would like to attend, please contact Organiser Jane Pond via email jane.pond@anmftas.org.au

Calvary North Hospitals

The ANMF has written to Calvary Health Care Tasmania regarding the persisting workload concerns expressed from members.  Members will be advised when a response is received.

Healthscope

The ANMF would like to strengthen the voice of members by increasing the number of ANMF Reps at Hobart Private and St Helen’s Hospitals. As a Rep, members are a contact person between the ANMF and the workplace. Being a Rep includes advocating for improvements in the workplace and having direct access to your Organiser. Reps are able to attend the Annual Delegates Conference and be involved in decision making on many Nursing and Health related issues. If you are passionate about making change in your workplace and representing your colleagues, contact Organiser Jane Pond via email jane.pond@anmftas.org.au

Lifeblood Hobart
