Close Observation Unit (COU)

The COU Benchmarking was endorsed by members at a meeting on Wednesday 20 July 2022, noting that it may not fully address the workload concerns. Keep an eye out for more details.

North West Child Health and Parenting Service (ChaPS)

The ANMF, on behalf of members at North West Child Health and Parenting Service, has formally notified the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) of multiple workload concerns that give rise to a Step 1 Workload Grievance. Once the response is received and reviewed, a member meeting will be convened to see further direction.

Nursing Hours per Patient Day (NHpPD) Grievance Step 2

ANMF officials met with THS management for the first of the Specialist panel meeting. Members will receive a Newsflash in the coming days which provides detail. The ANMF, on behalf of members, continues to monitor the Safe Staffing matrix as agreed in the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC). On Tuesday 26 July 2022 a report back conference was held at the TIC and a Newsflash outlining the details will be in your inbox shortly.
