Calvary Lenah Valley Campus and St John’s Hospital

The ANMF is sending a survey to members regarding workload concerns. The survey is open until Thursday 8 December 2022. If you do not receive a survey, please contact Southern Organiser, Jane Pond via email at Jane.Pond@anmftas.org.au.
The next Workload Consultative Committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 14 December 2022. Members are encouraged to submit Calvary workload forms for discussion at this meeting. Members are also encouraged to attend the meeting and can ask their manager for time to attend.

Healthscope Hobart Private and St Helens Hospitals
Members are reminded that the next Workload Consultative Committee (WCC) meeting will be held on Wednesday 30 November 2022 from 1230hrs – 1400hrs. The ANMF reminds members to submit any workload forms to their managers for inclusion in the discussion. Members are also encouraged to attend the meeting. If you would like to attend, please contact your manager for the time off to attend if you are working. Members attending on their time off will be reimbursed for the time attended as per the current Enterprise Agreement which states in Schedule 2 of the agreement:
“Employee representatives will be paid single time at their ordinary hourly rate for attendance at the WCC, including where that attendance is via teleconference and video conference.”

Calvary Health Care Tasmania – St Vincent’s and St Lukes Campus’
At the time of print, the ANMF is waiting on Calvary managements response to workload concerns raised by Theatre and Level 3 members at St Vincent’s respectively. Further, the ANMF will attend the Calvary workload management meeting scheduled for Thursday 24 November 2022. Further updates to follow.

Red Cross Lifeblood Burnie
The ANMF has consulted with members about Lifeblood’s proposal to permanently change the Burnie Donor Centre operating hours. Following that consultation, the ANMF has written to Lifeblood to outline members’ concerns in relation to issues about the maintenance of current terms and conditions and of employment and sought assurances about equalisation processes that might be required. The ANMF has requested Lifeblood respond by close of business Thursday 24 November 2022. The ANMF will keep members updated on the response and next steps.
