Car Parking (Market Place and Vodafone)

The ANMF has been in receipt of several member contacts regarding difficulties in accessing parking within both Market Place and Vodafone car parks last Tuesday 15 November 2022. The ANMF has made enquiries with both the Tasmanian Health Service and Sultan Group. Please click here for the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) and Sultan Group response.

General Medical (2A)

On Wednesday 16 November 2022, the ANMF attended a Benchmarking meeting for Ward 2A in the company and at the invitation of Tasmanian Health Service senior management. The ANMF are pleased to report that the process, presentation, and re-designed e-Tool were both transparent and amicable with an advantageous outcome (increase in Full Time Equivalent (FTE) for the unit. The ANMF has reached out to local management seeking to convene a member meeting at the earliest opportunity to seek member ratification of the results – once a date and time has been confirmed members will be advised separately.

Cardiac Cath Lab

The ANMF met with Cardiac Cath Lab members on Wednesday 16 November 2022 to review the Tasmanian Health Service Business Case proposal for an increase in direct care staffing. These conversations were robust and productive, however, the consensus amongst those present was that a secondary meeting to be scheduled in approximately two weeks-time would be warranted. The ANMF has written to local management to update the position and seek a second meeting – members will be advised separately once a date and time have been confirmed.

Updates correct as at 23 November 2022.
