Calvary Community Care

Members continue to raise workload concerns, and at last weeks meeting, members endorsed the ANMF to write a letter to Calvary management on their behalf.

South

Calvary Lenah Valley Campus and St John’s Hospital

The next Workload Consultative Committee meeting will be held in February 2023 with the date to be confirmed. The meetings are held in the Boardrooms at St John’s and Lenah Valley or online via WebEx. Members are encouraged to submit Calvary workload forms for any workload issues to their manager for discussion at this meeting. The workload forms are deidentified by your manager prior to submission.

Healthscope Hobart Private and St Helen’s Hospitals

The ANMF attended a meeting with St Helen’s and Hobart Private Hospital management regarding the closure of St Helen’s from Friday 23 December 2022 – Monday 9 January 2023. Members have been given the option to take annual leave/long service leave/leave without pay or be redeployed to the Hobart Private Hospital. The ANMF were concerned over some of the processes outlined in the Change Impact Statement. Healthscope has stated that members will be well supported during this time and can contact Director of Nursing, Sarah Llarena or General Manager, Janine Haigh for assistance and support if required. After 2 January 2023, members can also contact the ANMF Member Support Team via email at membersupport@anmftas.org.au or phone (03) 6223 6777.
