Launceston General Hospital (LGH)

Operating Room Suite

The ANMF met with members of the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Operating Room Suite (ORS) on Thursday 8 December 2022. The ANMF discussed the proposed benchmarking for the ORS for 2022/23. Please click here to view the recent newsflash communication and to complete the member survey.

John L Grove

The ANMF met with members on Tuesday 20 December 2022. At the time of print, the ANMF was working through several solutions to address the member concerns at John L Grove. Further updates to follow early in the new year.

Specialist Clinics

On Monday 19 December 2022, the ANMF met with members at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Specialist Clinic regarding the two workload disputes and the nursing workload working group that has been in abeyance for 2 years. Members have informed the ANMF that workloads remain unmitigated, and furthermore, COVID-19 has placed increased workloads for nurses. The ANMF will now take these concerns and a list of solutions back to Tasmanian Health Service (THS) North management for consideration. Further updates to follow in the early new year.

Ward 3D

The ANMF met with members on Thursday 22 December 2022. At the time of print, the ANMF is working through several solutions to member concerns on Ward 3D. Further updates to follow in the early new year.
