Public Sector Updates – Statewide

Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) Statewide

On Wednesday 23 November 2022, the ANMF attended the Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) Workload Working Group. At this meeting Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management presented a proposed model of care, discussed terms of reference and processes for the working group. Unfortunately, despite the THS committing to referring several matters from the Step 2 Grievance to the working group for resolution, these matters were dismissed from the agenda by the THS. The ANMF has now drafted an application for the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) and will be submitting this shortly. Further updates to follow.

Updates correct as at 7 December 2022.
Authorised by Emily Shepherd, ANMF Tasmanian Branch Secretary
