Launceston General Hospital (LGH)

Ward 3D

On Wednesday 1 February 2023, the ANMF met with Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Ward 3D members to provide a report back on the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) response to the ANMF Step 1 Grievance raised prior to Christmas. In summary, members have agreed to place the Grievance into abeyance until Ward 3D re-benchmarking occurs on 7 March 2023, and the THS minute to executive is progressed regarding the introduction of a clinical coach 7 days a week. A newsflash communication with a detailed summary of the plan moving forward will be distributed to members shortly.

North Eastern Soldiers Memorial Hospital

Following the THS response regarding agreed outcomes to resolve the workload grievance at North Eastern Soldiers Memorial Hospital (NESMH), the ANMF will meet with members to discuss details of a plan for the matter to progress to the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC). This meeting is tentatively planned for Thursday 16 February 2023 at 1400hrs, a meeting notice will be distributed shortly to confirm this date and time.
