Private Sector Updates – Statewide

North

Calvary Health Care Tasmania (CHCT): St Luke’s and St Vincent’s Hospitals

The ANMF thank our dedicated members who continue to complete and submit workload forms. These will shape the backbone of our dispute with CHCT demonstrating that the workplace is unsafe for our members, and patients, alike. We ask every staff member who believes they are working with an unsafe patient load, unsafe skill mix, short staffed, and missed meal breaks, to submit a workload form so these can be presented to the Fair Work Commission (FWC).

Calvary Health Care Tasmania (CHCT): Lenah Valley and St John’s Hospitals – Workload Consultative Committee (WCC) Meeting

The WCC meeting was held on Thursday 30 March 2023. CHCT have devised a new workload form for trial. This form is available on Calvary Connect under the employee resources tab. CHCT are inviting feedback on the new form. The next WCC meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 24 May 2023, from 1430hrs to 1530hrs in the Boardrooms at St John’s and Lenah Valley or via zoom. If you would like to attend the next WCC meeting, please contact your Southern Organiser, Jane Pond via email at Jane.Pond@anmftas.org.au.
