EA Updates
We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.
Calvary Health Care Tasmania Nursing (CHCT) Enterprise Agreement (EA)
The ANMF continues to meet with CHCT to advance towards a new EA. At the last meeting CHCT has proposed to introduce Assistants in Nursing (AIN) to their workforce. The ANMF has asked for more details about the role so this can be disseminated to our members. View the latest ANMF EA update.
The next EA meeting is due to take place on Tuesday 23 May 2023. If you would like to attend the EA meeting to support the member Log of Claims (LoC) and discussions to date, please contact Southern Organiser, Jane Pond via email at Jane.Pond@anmftas.org.au.
Uniting AgeWell
The ANMF received notice that the Uniting AgeWell EA (Tasmania) 2022 has been approved by Fair Work Commission (FWC). The agreement is available here.
May Shaw Aged Care – Scottsdale and Swansea (Nursing and Non-Nursing Agreements)
The employer has put forward their best offer, details regarding the offer is available here. This has been verbally revised, however the ANMF waits for this to be formally offered in writing. The next meeting will be Thursday 25 May 2023. If you are a Workplace Representative you are entitled to attend these meetings, please email Northern Organiser, Nicki Hood at nicki.hood@anmftas.org.au so a link to the meeting can be arranged.
Regis Aged Care
The ANMF met with the employer on Monday 1 May 2023. The employer said that it would not put forward a new offer until it has received details from the Government about how the work value increase will be funded. The next bargaining meeting will be held on 23 May 2023.
Respect Aged Care
The ANMF is meeting with members to endorse the LoC for a replacement EA.
South Eastern Community Care
A final draft of the Enterprise Agreement (EA) is nearly completed (The ANMF are currently reviewing). The employer representative has indicated their intention to open the ballot/voting process in line with the following timetable: 24 May 2023 commence access period; 31 May 2023 ballot opens; 5 June 2023 ballot closes.
Bolton Clarke
The ANMF has been made aware that Bolton Clarke has moved away from a proposed national agreement and have commenced negotiating with the Victorian ANMF. Following discussions with the Human Resources (HR) manager, it appears there is no current appetite from Bolton Clarke to include Tasmanian employees in that Agreement, as was an initial point of discussion some years back, however they do confirm that wage rates have been uplifted by way of an administrative increase.
Mary Ogilvy
A member meeting was held on Tuesday 16 May 2023 to ask members if there were any other inclusions in the Log of Claims (LoC). Mary Ogilvy has written to the ANMF regarding their intent to begin bargaining. The ANMF will notify members when a date is set.
Calvary Aged Care
The ANMF will meet with the employer on Thursday 18 May 2023 to commence bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement (EA). If you are a Workplace Representative you are entitled to attend these meetings, please email Northern Organiser Nicki Hood at nicki.hood@anmftas.org.au, so a link to the meeting can be arranged. The ANMF will keep members up to date via a newsflash and member meetings as required.
Calvary Home Care Agreement
This is a national agreement and will be facilitated via the Federal Office of the ANMF. ANMF Tasmania are consulting with members for items to be included in a national Log of Claims (LoC).
Aged Care Deloraine
ANMF members have updated their LoC for a replacement EA.
Eskleigh Foundation
The ANMF is awaiting the employer’s revised draft agreement.
Baptcare
The ANMF has sent the endorsed Log of Claims (LoC) to the employer.
Emmerton Park
The ANMF is preparing a LoC for a replacement Enterprise Agreement (EA).
Melaleuca Home for the Aged
The next bargaining meeting will be held on Tuesday 20 June 2023.
