Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH)

Car Parking

The ANMF has held preliminary discussions with relevant Tasmanian Health Service (THS) authorities regarding the ongoing and escalating issues/difficulties associated with car parking at the RHH for nurses and midwives. Through these meetings the issues have been collated, refined, and subsequent actions for each party ascribed. The ANMF anticipates a follow-up meeting in approximately 3 weeks to review and decide upon any potential joint ventures and/or formal submissions regarding the same. Adult Community Mental Health Service (ACMHS) Acute Care Team (ACT)

The Multidisciplinary Allowance (MDA) has at last been approved for payment of the MDA to Grade 5 nurses working within ACMHS ACT. The ANMF has requested further details, on behalf of members, as to the timeframe for the payment, how it is calculated, as well as when it will be back dated to. Mental Health Inpatient Unit (MHIU)

Members in the Mental Health Inpatient Unit (MHIU) have asked the ANMF to call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for any MHIU employees interested in the role of Health and Safety Representative (HSR). View the latest update.
