Private Sector Update – South

Healthscope St Helen’s Private Hospital

The ANMF is continuing to support members at Healthscope St Helen’s Private Hospital with onsite visits scheduled until the proposed closure date of Friday 23 June 2023. Alternatively, members can call into the ANMF office or email Southern Organiser Jane Pond at Jane.Pond@anmftas.org.au.

The ANMF has written to the employer raising questions about the denial of long service leave payments to long term casual employees. The ANMF asked for a response from the employer by Tuesday 13 June, however, has been advised that a reply will be received on Friday 16 June 2023. We will advise members of the outcome.

For other support matters members can contact the our ANMF Member Support Team via email at membersupport@anmftas.org.au.

The ANMF remind members that they can also access the Nurse and Midwife Support helpline on 1800 667 877 or visit www.nmsupport.org.au.

Updates correct as at 14 June 2023.
