Public Sector Updates – North West

North West Renal Unit

The ANMF, on behalf of members from the North West Renal Unit, met with Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management on Thursday 3 August 2023 for the first step 2 panel meeting to explore outcomes to address outstanding workload concerns. A follow up meeting with management will be held on Tuesday 15 August 2023 and the ANMF will then speak to members to seek further direction.

North West Maternity Services – Transition and Service Delivery model

The draft service delivery model will be presented at a series of meetings this week. Members are welcome to seek support through the ANMF following these sessions if required, and for individual consultation regarding the transfer process. ComRRS, Community Nursing Hellyer and Mersey Leven Community Nursing

The ANMF attended a series of meetings with Hellyer Community Nursing, Mersey Leven Community Nursing and ComRRs members to discuss the Change Proposal. A response from Primary Health Services management has been received. Correspondence to members is being drafted, following which member meetings will be arranged.
