Launceston General Hospital COVID Support Positions WIN! ED, 3R, 5D, 6D, and ICU

THS North management have confirmed:
• That the additional resources allocated for COVID support have been made permanent, except for the support officer roles in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• The PTVEs have been completed, and a letter of permanent appointment will be issued to those staff currently in these positions.
• Those currently in roles will have the option to continue in their positions permanently or return to their substantive positions if that is their preference. If they choose to return to their substantive roles, they will be rostered accordingly. In the case of declining the permanent role, the THS will recruit to the full-time equivalent (FTE) positions permanently through an open merit process.
