Private Sector Updates – Statewide

Calvary Health Care Tasmania (CHCT)

Following the shock announcement that CHCT will no longer proceed with the co-located private hospital in Launceston, the ANMF wrote to National CEO Martin Bowles to ask that any discussions regarding the ongoing viability of the two northern campuses is conveyed openly and transparently with staff. Once a reply to this letter is received the ANMF will inform members.

North West

ANMF Representatives have been visiting worksites and updating union notice boards. Congratulations to Hannah from the University of Tasmania (UTAS) Burnie Campus on winning an ANMF hamper. Hannah joined the ANMF as a Student Registered Nurse (RN) during the UTAS student orientation day in Burnie. Well done, Hannah, we wish you all the best with your studies.

Updates are correct as of 21 February 2024.
