Private Sector Updates – Statewide

Calvary Health Care Tasmania (CHCT)

Following the announcement CHCT will no longer proceed with the co-located Private Hospital in Launceston, the ANMF wrote to National Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Martin Bowles on Monday 12 February 2024 with the request for an open and transparent discussion regarding this decision. To date, Calvary has not replied to this correspondence. The ANMF is disappointed Calvary continues to snub the valid concerns raised by members about how they may be impacted by this decision, and if the members will be consulted at any stage with the review of services at St Luke’s and St Vincent’s campuses.

Updates are correct as of 7 March 2024.
