EA Updates
We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.
Respect Aged Care including Former Masonic Care
Respect Aged Care has officially requested the ANMF meet to discuss replacing the current Enterprise Agreement (EA). A meeting was held on Monday 29 April 2024, to lock in the first of the bargaining meetings, also when the Log of Claims (LoC) will be tabled and how Workplace Representatives can be involved in the process. The ANMF will convene a Zoom meeting with Workplace Representatives to discuss this schedule shortly. Please come to the member meetings which will be held at all Respect facilities in the coming weeks to ensure your voice is heard at the bargaining table. If you are a new Respect employee, please ensure you have updated your employment details via the member portal to receive important EA updates.
TasIVF/Hobart Specialist Day Hospital
The ANMF attended an EA meeting on Tuesday 30 April 2024. The ANMF presented the nurses LoC at the meeting. TasIVF is considering their response and will report back to the ANMF at the next meeting.
The Salvation Army Barrington Lodge
The ANMF met with the employer on Monday 22 April 2024. The ANMF asked for care workers to be included in the nurses agreement, the employer stated that this would not be possible in the current round of negotiations, however proposed to have a shorter 2 year agreement, with care workers to be included in the next negotiations. The employer has proposed a 3% wages increase per annum, backdated to 1 July 2023. The next bargaining meeting is scheduled for Monday 6 May 2024.
Hobart Day Surgery
The ANMF attended an Enterprise Agreement (EA) meeting on Tuesday 30 April 2024. The ANMF will be giving an update to members at the member meeting scheduled for Thursday 2 May 2024.
Aged Care Deloraine
Negotiations for a replacement Enterprise Agreement (EA) have occurred with a draft offer presented to the ANMF. The ANMF raised some concerns over the wage offer and has asked Aged Care Deloraine to provide further clarity. Once an offer from the employer is received ANMF will provide the details to members via an EA update.
Calvary Home Care
Negotiations have re-commenced for a new EA. As this will be a national agreement the ANMF Tasmanian Branch will be negotiating alongside other ANMF branches for a singular agreement. Workplace Representatives are invited to join the negotiations which will be held in paid time. The next scheduled meeting will be held on Wednesday 15 May 2024.
North West Private Hospital (NWPH)
Healthe Care Burnie (NWPH) Log of Claims (LoC) survey has been sent to members, please check your email inboxes and provide any feedback for your LoC. If you have recently changed your workplace or details, please log into the member portal to update your details.
