The ANMF met with your employer on Wednesday 8 May 2024, as part of the bargaining process for your Enterprise Agreements (EA). The ANMF will be in a position to provide members with accurate information once we have it in writing, and it has been reviewed. EA updates and member meetings will be organised to update you. Keep an eye out on your inbox for invites so that you can have your say.

Respect Aged Care (including Former Masonic Care employees)
The ANMF thanks members who have answered the snap poll questions, the feedback has now been collected and this has formed the Log of Claims (LoC) which has been presented to your employer in preparation to start the bargaining for a replacement Enterprise Agreement. The first meeting has been scheduled for Monday 27 May 2024. The ANMF would like to finalise which Workplace Representatives are available to attend the meetings and thank all of those that have indicated they are willing to be involved in the bargaining meetings.

Calvary Home Care
Negotiations have re-commenced for a new Enterprise Agreement (EA). As this will be a national agreement the ANMF Tasmanian branch will be negotiating alongside other ANMF branches for a singular agreement. Workplace Representatives are invited to join the negotiations which will be held in paid time. The next scheduled meeting will be held on Wednesday 15 May 2024.

Baptcare Karingal
The ANMF attended a meeting with your employer on Wednesday 8 May 2024. Disappointingly, whilst we do not have all the details in writing, the employer’s offer for wage increases is 2.5% for each of the next 3 years, commencing in July 2024 with no back pay on offer.

The evidence required for personal leave also appears to be more onerous and a significant departure from the current Enterprise Agreement (EA) clause.

The ANMF expected to receive a draft copy of the agreement on Friday 10 May 2024 which will be carefully reviewed. A further bargaining meeting for the purposes of clarification of the offer will be held on Wednesday 15 May 2024, then we will schedule member meetings immediately after to provide updates and seek members’ feedback on the offer as a whole. Keep an eye on your inbox for an invite and to have your say.

Meercroft Care
ANMF officials, on behalf of members, attended a bargaining meeting on Tuesday 7 May 2024. To date, your employer has given no indication as to what wage increases will be offered, this should be known by late May 2024.

The ANMF will schedule member meetings to provide updates and seek members’ feedback once the wages offer is received in writing. Keep an eye on your inbox for an invite so that you can have your say.

Updates are correct as of 15 May 2024.
