Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH)

Emergency Department (ED)

The ANMF will be returning soon to hold a member meeting to further consult with everyone regarding recent changes in the department. Keep an eye out for a text and meeting flyer.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The ANMF met with members on Thursday 6 June to discuss 12-hour shift remuneration and a plan of action. The ANMF lodged an application with the Tasmanian Industrial Commission seeking a resolution to these ongoing and outstanding concerns. View the latest update.

Ward K9W – Grievance regarding Unsustainable Workloads

The ANMF and Workplace Representatives attended a Step 2 Specialist Panel meeting together and were able to press the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) to bring forward benchmarking. The THS have agreed to meet again next week on Monday 17 June 2024, to further progress the matters.

Medical Imaging

The ANMF met recently with members to discuss several matters of concern on the ward. Correspondence has been sent to senior management and we are awaiting a reply.

Ward K10W

Benchmarking commenced on Wednesday 5 June 2024. The ANMF visited members to consult regarding an acceptable model of care on Wednesday 12 June 2024.

Ward 2A

Benchmarking will commence soon. Keep an eye out for an ANMF meeting with members soon to discuss.
