Aged Care Updates – Statewide

Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT)

The ANMF has been contacted by members with concerns regarding the recent introduction of the Whistleblower Hotline.

Members informed the ANMF that they received an email announcing the launch of the Whistleblower Hotline on Wednesday, 19 June 2024 and have concerns regarding the intent of the introduction.

The ANMF understands that SCCT is “committed to a culture where everyone feels safe to speak up when they feel something isn’t right.”

However, the ANMF highlighted that members are very concerned about the introduction of the Whistleblower Hotline and how it might affect them.

OneCare

The ANMF raised, on your behalf, concerns that overtime is not paid on additional shifts if your normal roster includes every second Sunday. See the full update here.

Updates are correct as of 11 July 2024.
