EA Updates
We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.
Respect Aged Care
Negotiations continue for a replacement industrial instrument. At the last meeting, Respect has offered the following conditions improvements:
- A night shift penalty rate of 17.5%. This represents an improvement at those facilities where the night shift penalty rate is currently only 15%.
- Increasing the family and domestic violence leave entitlement to 20 days paid leave.
- Inclusion of a jacket/vest/cardigan in the uniforms
The ANMF will continue to push for a strong outcome for all members in further negotiation meetings.
Medea Park
Following successful lobbying of your employer, Medea Park has indicated they are willing to commence bargaining for a new agreement. Northern Organiser Nicki Hood met with members recently to discuss the Log of Claims (LoC); members requested a few additional claims be included, which the Industrial Officials have attended to. Are you passionate about a strong outcome for ANMF members working at Medea Park? If so, your colleagues need you! Become a Workplace Delegate and sit at the negotiation table along with the ANMF to bargain for a strong outcome.
Calvary Home Care
Scheduled negotiation meetings are occurring, in which Calvary has provided minimal feedback to the LoC. Wages and allowances are expected to be tabled at the forthcoming bargaining meeting scheduled for Wednesday 17 July 2024. Once these details have been provided, the ANMF will meet with members to receive your comments on the discussions that have occurred to date.
Amplar Virtual Health
Negotiations have commenced for a replacement agreement. At this stage, only the LoC have been presented and briefly explained. Amplar Health have also tabled clause variations they will be seeking to have replaced in the current agreement. The next bargaining agreement meeting is tentatively set for Tuesday 16 July 2024.
Updates are correct as of 11 July 2024.
