Private Sector Updates – Statewide

North

Calvary Health Care Tasmania (CHCT) – Northern Hospitals

It remains clear Calvary do not have enough staff to cover base line rosters in theatre, Cath lab and wards, with many members reporting a shortage in staff with specific skills. Instead of adjusting lists or rosters to accommodate the short fall the practice at Calvary appears to be one of carrying on with no reduction in service. ANMF members are encouraged to complete a nursing workload form for every shift where there is a clear deficit in staffing. Forms can be emailed to ANMF Northern Organiser Nicki Hood at Nicki.Hood@anmftas.org.au. Member meetings will be booked at both St Luke’s and St Vincent Hospitals over the coming weeks to hear your feedback, you are encouraged to attend these meetings if you are able, if not you can send your concerns to Nicki via email.

Updates are correct as of 7 August 2024.
